First Church Sanctuary
For the third year, First Church Berkeley is teaming up with City of Refuge UCC (in Oakland) to celebrate the legacy and future of African-American culture through song. The concert called “Creating Sanctuaries of Love” will take place at 7 pm in the First Church Sanctuary on Monday, January 15, 2018 which is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The evening will include a wide variety of music and poetry.

All of this year’s proceeds will go to support Regina’s Door, an Oakland-based organization serving victims of sex trafficking and to support the college education of several children from Mother of Peace orphanage in Zimbabwe, including Melody Marimo who is attending the Catholic University of Zimbabwe.
