“Katariro: Singing Hope for a New Day” Benefit Concert

For the fourth year, First Church Berkeley collaborates with City of Refuge UCC to create a benefit concert on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 4 pm at City of Refuge. This year’s concert called “Katariro: Singing Hope for a New Day” will benefit the Food4Life Congregate Meals Program at Allen Temple Baptist Church, serving meals to those living with HIV, and the continuing education of Eric and Linda Jemali.

The life-giving and entertaining event will feature a mass choir made up of First Church and City of Refuge members, Ja Ronn & FLOW, Jazzi Jan Beard, Leonard Conner, Andrew Jamison & The Trouble Ensemble, Helen Orzel, Derek Tam, Mark Harris, Pastor Earnest Larkins, and the First Church Gospel Choir. Phil Porter will serve as emcee.
