Spirituality and Stewardship for the New Millennium

Sat, May 12 • 9:30 am

Loper Chapel

In February, the Church Council charged a small group of leaders to spiritual and financial visioning for the long-term sustainability of our community.

As part of our work, the team has invited spiritual visionary and renowned church vitality consultant Rev. Michael Piazza to work with us. He’ll be here on Saturday, May 12 to offer a daylong workshop!

Mike, formerly the dean of 4,000-member Cathedral of Hope in Dallas, Texas, will offer us practical wisdom and strategies related to millennial generosity, the end of paper money and checks, how to never have a pledge drive again, and increasing giving by 10% with no additional donors--all while deepening our community spiritually and emotionally.

Mike is wise, funny, thought-provoking and deeply faithful. Even if the topic itself does not seem pertinent to you, consider coming as a stakeholder in the future of our church. The more of us who speak a common language around faith and finances, the stronger we will be.

As an anchor church in the East Bay, we are also inviting other communities of faith to attend free of charge!

This workshop runs from 9:30 am-3 pm with lunch provided. RSVP by May 7 to Louise at lhalsey@fccb.org.
