Alas, the microburst/mini-hurricane that burst through the Bay Area a couple of weeks ago did devastating work at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore, where we had booked cabins and a big group campsite for our All-Church Camping Extravaganza on April 28-29. The campground is closed for repairs, and our weekend has been canceled! We looked for other local group campsites but they are all booked. With so many opportunities to socialize between now and the end of the Capital Campaign, we’ll postpone this gathering until summer. Look in this space for a new invitation in a month or two!
