First Church celebrated Carmelle Knudsen at its recent Annual Meeting as she retires from her volunteer staff position as Membership Secretary. Carmelle has managed a broad range of membership and stewardship duties for 21 years. In particular, her work both encouraging yearly pledging and following up in the pledge campaign process has been a major gift to the church.
As she retires, she hopes to spend more time quilting and spending time with her grandchildren. She will continue to be an active First Church member.
