On Sun., March 23, we’ll be celebrating another baptism in our community, an adult this time! For those of you who have never been baptized, you’re invited to prayerfully consider whether you feel called to receive this sacrament on this day as well. It’s extra-sweet to be baptized alongside others, so if you’ve been considering it, here’s an opportunity! Let Rev. Kelly know as soon as possible if you feel you’d like to be baptized on March 23.
We’ll also offer an opportunity for anybody who wishes to reaffirm their baptism to come up and receive water, oil, and an affirmation of baptism. So if you were baptized with a different name than you use now, or as a gender that isn’t true to you, or in a tradition you no longer feel connected to, and you’d like to come forward to receive an affirmation, you’re welcome to do so.
