Did You Know…?

…that Rev. Rhina Ramos, UCC pastor of the LGBTQ Ministerio Latino in Oakland, is seeking temporary housing for Monica, a trans woman, Ministerio Latino is accompanying? Do you have space for Monica? If so, please email Rev. Molly. More info: Monica arrived in the US last November and is currently living in housing that Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity secured at SFU through July. Monica might need housing only until January 2025 as Ministerio Latino has an idea for a more permanent housing solution after that. Monica just began working as a caregiver. She entered the US with refugee status and has a work permit. In El Salvador, Monica was the shelter coordinator and case manager of a LGBTQ shelter. Ministerio Latino will help Monica with $200 for three months as she begins paying for rent herself.
