Before taking a break from programming for the rest of the summer, the Adult Education Ministry invites you to the film screening of “Like Heaven Without God,” a documentary by Luca Capponi, one of First Church’s AV technicians. Below is the synopsis of the film:
“Like Heaven Without God” intimately portrays the lives of five residents in a Berkeley mobile home community, navigating the harsh realities. As participants in a year-long public program offering temporary refuge, they grapple with the transient nature of their existence amidst the looming uncertainties of life on the streets.
