Adult Education is pleased to sponsor Moms Demand Action at the Learning Hour on Sun., Nov. 17, 11:45 am, in Loper Chapel.
Moms Demand Action is the largest grassroots
gun safety advocacy organization in the country,
with currently more supporters than the National Rifle
Association. While they support the second amendment,
they believe there is much more that can be done to keep
firearms out of the hands of dangerous people and create a
culture of responsible gun ownership.
Local Moms Demand Action volunteers — Anna Mahony, Anna Santos, and Laurie Leiber — will give an overview of the organization and an update on legislative priorities and actions.
