Let's make everyone count

Point-In-Time Homeless Count on Feb. 23

Wed., Feb. 23, 2022, 5 to 9 am

Every two years, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires communities to conduct a Point-in-Time (PIT) Count of individuals, youth, and families experiencing homelessness and provide accompanying data. It’s a “snapshot” of homelessness (both sheltered and unsheltered) in our community and nationally. The Count is happening next Wed., Feb. 23 at 5 to 9 am and is significant because the Jan. 2021 count didn’t happen due to COVID-19. You can help by participating in the count or by hosting a snack stop. Email Moe Wright at [email protected] or Dan Leaverton at [email protected] to volunteer.
