Taizé Service

2nd Sundays at 7 pm, Loper Chapel
Contact Michele McGeoy ([email protected]) with questions

Taizé, an ecumenical form of meditative prayer, originated in the French village of Taizé. During the prayer service, we sing short chants as a form of meditation. In addition to the chants, there are readings, prayer intercessions, and silence.

A Taizé service is a peaceful, calming, and spiritually uplifting time of prayer. All are welcome. No prior experience is necessary!

We invite musical and vocal participation in a Taizé Choir along with readers in various languages. Choir rehearses at 6pm (prior to the service) in the Pillar Room, and all are welcome. For more information contact Michele at [email protected]
