We grew up in very different churches and cultures, so it was a challenge to find a church where we both felt truly comfortable. We joined First Church because it’s a congregation where there’s a lot of difference and we both feel welcomed. We love the church’s deep commitment to social justice and showing up generously in and for the community. And the music is great!
