Let's make everyone count

Alameda County Count of Homeless People Needs Volunteers

Thurs., Jan. 25, 2024, 5 to 10 am

Every two years all counties that receive federal funding for the prevention of homelessness must provide the results of a physical count of all sheltered and unsheltered homeless people to Washington, DC. This year Alameda County’s Point-in-Time (PIT) Count will take place Thurs., Jan. 25, 2024. Many people from our congregation have participated in past counts because it helps keep federal dollars flowing into the county’s programs.

For more information and to sign up, click here. Sign-ups and training are all online this year. You can do it with your friends and family. We also need a few people to help with Berkeley coordination and leadership, no experience required. Please call Moe Wright about this opportunity: 510/719-4685.
