Do you have a childhood home you are deeply nostalgic for? Or perhaps a house you used to dream about living in? Or even a church, a park, a playground, a friend’s house–a place that for you invokes safety, warmth, belonging, sacredness? On Sun., March 27, Corinne Lucas, a multidisciplinary artist who has worked in various capacities at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Berkeley Rep (and who just happens to be Molly’s high school bestie!) will be with us leading an after-church painting party. Bring a photo of a “home” (liberally interpreted) that you want to paint into a portrait as a spiritual and emotional exercise in rooting down. Ages 4th grade and up welcome!
