The Blue Fire Team is hard at work modeling all three concepts of a rebuilt campus to see which one aligns most closely with our mission, constraints, needs, values and long-term financial health. We have shifted the congregational vote date slightly to allow time for the congregation to absorb details from the final concept we will present in May. Here’s an updated timeline for the process, so you can know what to expect:
March 4: Blue Fire Team members come to Open Chapel to solicit opinions and feedback from young adults (Loper Chapel, 5pm)
March 8: Blue Fire Congregational Forum to discuss issues and questions that emerged at our January forum (Sanctuary Chancel, 11:30am)
March 15: Talk to a Blue Fire Member at the Afterparty (11:45am)
April 19: Blue Fire Congregational Forum to introduce final concept and rationale (Sanctuary Chancel, 11:15am)
April 26: Talk to a Blue Fire Member at the Afterparty (11:45am)
May 17: Blue Fire Congregational Forum to introduce final concept with drawings and details (Sanctuary Chancel, 11:!5am)
