Bridging Hope: An Evening of Support for Church World Service

Wed., Sept. 18, 2024, 5:30 to 7 pm
Badè Museum, Berkeley

Rick Santos, President & CEO Church World Service

As valued supporters of Church World Service (CWS), the First Church Berkeley community is invited to attend a private event on Wed. evening, Sept. 18, at the Badè Museum in Berkeley. Join Rev. David Vásquez-Levy (CWS Board Chair), Rev. Patricia de Jong (Former CWS Board Chair), and CWS (including the CROP Hunger Walk) for this special event. This is a unique opportunity to connect with other humanitarians and directly impact the lives of those facing hunger and displacement.

Your Generosity in Action: Our goal during this event is to raise $25,000 to combat hunger and assist refugees and asylum seekers. We kindly ask for your support, knowing that your contribution will save and transform lives.

Why Your Presence Matters:

  • Be a Beacon of Hope: In a world divided, your support is more crucial than ever. Together, we can bridge the gaps in resources, support and hope for those who need it most.
  • Hear Stories of Resilience: Be inspired by personal accounts of those whose lives have been transformed by your support.
  • Discover Innovative Solutions: Learn how, through your support, CWS addresses some of the world’s most urgent challenges.
  • Connect with Changemakers: Discuss your vision for the future with me and members of our leadership team.
  • Enjoy an Evening of Community: Enjoy wine, light refreshments and meaningful conversations in the elegant setting of the Bade Museum.

Please RSVP by Mon., Sept. 9 as space is limited to the first 60 guests. Click on this link to respond.

If you can’t make it but would like to help us reach our goal, donate here:  https://cwsglobal.org/bridging-hope
