Thank you, First Church! The Ministry of Justice and Service (J&S) is grateful for your generosity in supporting this project to bring some joy to our unhoused neighbors. Because of your generous spirit of giving the $2,400 cost of the 30 bags was completely covered; this includes: gift cards, $10 bills, fruit, and all the items purchased on Amazon with your donations.
A special thank you to:
- the Deacons for leading the Love Notes activity
- the Youth Group for prepping the socks with ribbon bows, packages of bandages and Band Aids, and bags of fruit
- Helen Walsh for helping J&S update the list of items most needed and for being our liaison to Consider the Homeless!
