Helen Street Ranney, who became the Executive Secretary for the Women’s Board of the Pacific (however, she was licensed to preach. Did she ever appear in our pulpit? Hm…) Unfortunately, the article from the Berkeley Gazette does not list any of Rev. Ranney’s accomplishments, but devotes considerable column inches to her the all-male guest list.
