Join us Sun., April 14, during the church After Party, to celebrate the impending arrival of Rev. Kelly and her partner Rev. Sheryl Johnson’s baby! Here’s how you can be a part of this special occasion:
- Share Your Wisdom: On April 7, take home a fancy paper square from church to write down a moment or lesson that has been meaningful to you on your journey as a parent or a memory from your own childhood that meaningfully shaped your perspective. Return it at the April 14 After Party, where a collection box will be available. Additional squares will also be available on April 14 for any day-of contributions. We’ll gift this as a box of wisdom to Rev. Kelly.
- Potluck Contribution: Bring your favorite salad (green, pasta, rice, etc.) to the After Party April 14 for this special baby shower potluck.
- Gift Options:
- Contribute to a Personal Library: Choose a children’s book from this curated list of progressive Christian/spiritual titles. Mark your selection on the Google doc to avoid duplicates. For unique book contributions, add them to the “other” section on the bottom of the Google doc and mark accordingly. Please do not wrap books; a tag to indicate the gift giver(s) and/or a note is sufficient (and optional).
- Family Photo Session Gift Certificate: Contribute towards a gift certificate for a family photo session. Send your contribution digitally (labeled “Kelly’s gift”) to Nathan Hood (Venmo: @nathanhoodrealestate, Cashapp:$nathanhoodrealestate, PayPal: [email protected], or Zelle: 5107257876), or drop off a check or cash in the marked envelope at the church entrance on April 7 or April 14.
