Our signature kickoff to the church program year is nearly upon us! We’ll have all the old favorites plus some new ones this year. Fall Festival is a great opportunity to shift your rhythms back into regular churchgoing if travels or other energies have drawn you away, as well as a fun day to invite neighbors and friends to experience our community.
First, lively worship launching our fall worship theme “Bad Kings, Drama Queens & Divine Doings” (yes, that’s a nod to this election cycle) with some surprise musical selections, and a chance for everyone to feel like royalty.
After worship:
- Special music performed by Mokili Wa
- A bouncy house, including grownup moments for bouncing!
- A BBQ (hamburgers and veggie burgers provided; you are invited to bring a side salad: homemade or a bag salad from the produce section of the grocery store)
- It’s-Its ice cream and popsicles (yummm)
- Facepainting
- New this year: a Dunk Tank to raise funds for our youth programming! With an option to dunk *at least* one of your pastors (we’re not saying which one)
