Marta Black from FCCB’s Green Team was recently trained by former Vice President Al Gore and his Climate Reality Project, who work internationally to educate and motivate people to take action on the climate crisis we face. As a Climate Reality Leader, she will present a one-hour slide show with current data on our accelerating climate change, extreme weather events locally and internationally, and the hopeful role that ordinary people and renewable energy can play in mitigating the crisis. We stand now at the crossroads, and will need to join together to help eliminate greenhouse gas emissions within the next ten years. We face serious consequences but also have a window of opportunity to take action to sustain all life.
