Our November 15th Learning Hour will focus on how the Trinity Center in Walnut Creek is addressing homelessness.
The Trinity Center’s new location incorporates both a drop-in center for those who are homeless as well as permanent housing. Leslie Gleason, the Trinity Center’s Executive Director will speak about the mission of the center, how it has evolved, and its path forward. Leslie will place this in the context of the societal challenge of homelessness, which has been further spotlighted by the current pandemic showing the strengths and vulnerabilities of our social and economic structure and the human need for a safe place to live.
During this learning hour, we will see how the Trinity Center addresses the root causes of homelessness and its interrelated issues of racial and economic inequality.
