Thanks to you, it has been a great year for the Black Wealth Builders Fund. We have made 21 zero-interest loans, for a total of $275,665, to first-time Black homebuyers throughout Contra Costa and Alameda counties. We have supported four new homeowners each in Richmond and Concord, three in Pittsburg, and two each in Martinez, El Sobrante, Oakland, San Lorenzo, and Antioch. We have raised a total of $332,840, leaving us with $57,175 in the fund.
Let’s keep this momentum going. Please make a year-end donation to our fund to continue breaking down the longstanding barriers to Black homeownership in our East Bay communities. Donations can be made at any time by sending a check to our community partner, the Richmond Community Foundation, 3260 Blume Dr., Suite 110, Richmond, CA 94806. (Please make sure to indicate Black Wealth Builders Fund in the memo line). Or you can donate online here.
More information on the fund and its importance can be found on Arlington Community Church’s website.
