News from the Interfaith Coalition for Justice in Jails

The Interfaith Coalition for Justice in Jails (ICJJ) published its latest newsletter. It has news about the recall of District Attorney Pamela Price, the likely ballot measure to repeal Proposition 47, and the ongoing efforts to stop the deaths and harm at Santa Rita Jail. Proposition 47 made drug possession and minor property theft misdemeanors instead of felonies in 2014.

Why would you read the newsletter? Because our church is a member of the ICJJ, in support of greater justice in our community. You can go to the ICJJ website, icjjalamedacounty.org, select Resources, and then click newsletter. Or you can read their latest newsletter here.
