Save the Date: Movie Viewing of “Crip Camp – A Disability Revolution”

Sat., July 29, 2 to 6 pm, Loper Chapel

Down the road from Woodstock, a revolution blossomed at a ramshackle summer camp for teenagers with disabilities, transforming their lives and igniting a landmark movement. The Mental Health and Disability Ministry Team invites you to an afternoon of wonder and amazement as we watch together the award-winning documentary “Crip Camp – A Disability Revolution.” Enter into a world of fun, love, discovery, and possibility with and for kids who had been left out, confined at home, and deprived of the childhoods most of us have enjoyed. See how the transformation of these young people ended up bringing about the transformation of life for all Americans, especially those with disabilities.

Popcorn, gummies, and pizza will be served.
