Come to church ready to roll up your sleeves and help out the community. After a prayer and a hymn we’ll break into groups to lend our hands to a variety of activities including:
- Gardening — and other on-site cleanup — bring work gloves
- Operation Love Notes — The Deacons will provide materials to write letters to members who aren’t able to join us in person
- SNAPkids — This month’s offering plate recipient; they need helpers to count and organize pool equipment
- Bag Lunches — Second Sunday Sandwiches on the third Sunday! Sign up to donate ingredients: http://fccb.org/sandwiches
- Berkeley Food Pantry, the Interfaith Coalition for Justice in our Jails, and other partners will be on site with letter writing and other activities they need help with.
