The worship team is aware that the sound quality in worship has been very uneven—we also know what effort it took some of you to get to in-person worship, and how frustrating it is when you can’t hear! It is very frustrating for those of us who created offerings for worship as well.
We are working on an action plan with our audio engineers to provide more consistent, clean sound. Please be patient as we help our team understand what our needs are. And you can help with this: if you have instant feedback to offer, it is helpful if you go directly to the sound booth after worship instead of to the ministers, tell the folks in there where you were sitting and what the sound quality was like during which parts of the service, and whether or not the assistive listening devices worked. Keep in mind that our engineers appreciate praise as well as criticism—both kinds of feedback will improve their performance.
