Would you like to get back into playing guitar…but it’s been awhile? Consider joining Uke-Atastrophe, the First Church Ukulele Orchestra!
We meet in Emeryville on the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month for an hour of eating and talk followed by an hour of strumming and singing, and there is always room for a “newbie.” And did I mention we always have It’s Its ice cream sandwiches to close out practice?
We help out with fun church services like Family Christmas Eve, Fat Tuesday, and Easter Sunrise, and also just play old folk songs for our own amusement. Chord charts handed out liberally and indeed loaner ukes are available.
