The City of Berkeley is working on its Zero Waste Strategic Plan to shape the future of waste, recycling, and compost services in our city. Your input is needed! City Councilmember Rigel Robinson will be hosting a focus group on Thurs., May 4 for District 7. You are invited to attend. Berkeley is evaluating its waste operations, recycling, and composting programs to determine where improvements can be made in cost, efficiency, and environmental benefits. In order to develop a successful plan, we invite you to participate in a short, online focus-group session. Berkeley will use this important feedback to guide the development of the plan. This plan will identify operational, personnel, program, and financial resources needed to meet the City’s Climate Action and Zero Waste goals. Register here.
