No Phishing

It is a widespread practice for online scammers to impersonate pastors, sending cryptic messages with faux religious language to emails they harvest from the internet asking for the email recipients to purchase gift cards on their behalf. Ignore and delete these emails—and if you know how, go one step further and report the phishing scam! You can always look closely at the email address to verify if it really is one of your pastors writing to you. We will never, ever ask for your help in this way. When in doubt: text or call us to verify if it was really us.

Example of phishing scam:

Hi, how are you?
Please let me know when you get this email.
I want to discuss something with you

Grace and Peace
Pastor Molly
