A Little About Me…
I grew up just South of the Bay Area in Morgan Hill. Much of my family lives here and I could not be more excited to be moving back to the area. I moved to Texas in 2019 to finish up Seminary with some in-the-field work and to be with the love of my life, Bailey. After enduring what will now be three too many Texas summers and one freeze…I am happy to be where it stays 70 degrees year around. I look for any excuse to go on a drive with my dogs, especially if it involves hikes, Puppachinos, and Broadway show tunes. Both Bailey and I enjoy the strategic board game nights or competitive video gaming. Though we will miss the Texas sunsets, both Bailey and I are excited to engage with the surrounding community.
I have a BA in Business Administration from Vanguard University of Southern California in Costa Mesa. Following graduation in 2017, I felt called to enter into vocational ministry and began my Seminary journey. I graduated in 2020 with my Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.
When I found my first UCC church in Dallas, it was an instant connection! I found this to be a denomination that was especially interested in its community and congregants instead of meeting a church norm. I have always found youth and young adults to be an integral part of the church community. Creating spaces for young people to be themselves without fear of judgment is where I sense my calling at the present time. When we can find a place to be truly, wholly, and authentically ourselves, we truly bear the image of God.
