Our church was founded 150 years ago to support the Cal Berkeley community and its students—students who are more pressured and stressed than perhaps ever before. We have a sweet (literally!) and simple way to support them every Final Exam period—hand out homemade cookies and blessings from pastors on Sproul Plaza. You can bake ahead of time, and/or hand out cookies on Tues., May 10 from 12 – 2 pm. Please bring your baked cookies to church (to the Hall of Entrance kitchen in containers marked with your name) Sun., May 8, drop them by the church office Mon., May 9 (10 am to 3 pm) or Tues. morning before noon, May 10. And, if you can join Molly and Kelly in hosting the “cookie” table on Sproul Plaza, come on down! Our two last events on campus (study break cookies in the rain last December, and Ashes to God on Ash Wednesday) were met with warm appreciation—it’s a feel good time. Thank you!
