In early October Moderator Sara Woods announced the plans passed by Church Council on staffing for the future and called a Congregational Meeting for Nov. 21. You can find the article here.
We’ll be voting to settle Rev. Kelly Colwell into a settled Associate Pastor role for our church after she has been serving as an Acting Associate Pastor since August 2020. Join us in person to vote by ballot following the 10 am worship service. Because California Law for non-profits allows for only one type of voting rather than mixed modalities, we’ve chosen to come together in person to cast our ballots as befits this celebratory moment as we acknowledge and affirm Rev. Kelly’s settled role in our community.
If you are uncomfortable attending the service in person or being indoors for voting, we’ll set up a table for you to cast your ballot from 11:15 to 11:45 am on the patio (in front of Loper Chapel). See you Nov. 21!
