Fri., July 15 – Sun., July 17, Candidating Weekend
The Search Committee has exciting news to share: we’re ready to present a candidate for Minister for Youth, Young Adults, and Emerging Ministries – Hannah Turner! After months of work, many hours of interviewing and meeting, considering many excellent and strong candidates, speaking with references, hearing ideas for programs, and evaluating, we’ve settled on the person we are confident will best suit our needs in this next season, offering warm, invitational ministry to youth, young adults, and everybody else along the way. We’re proud to announce that we’ll have a candidating weekend July 15 – 17. (See the full schedule below.) Saturday will be an all-congregation lunch where we will host a Q&A with Hannah, followed by an afternoon event specifically for youth and their families and an evening gathering of young adults. Hannah will preach on Sun., July 17 and we’ll hold a congregational meeting immediately afterwards to vote on calling her as our settled minister. Voting will be held in person inside the Sanctuary and outside on the Dana St. Front Patio.
