Here’s a rad idea that may benefit you AND your church: while we are in the hiring process for our new business manager, we need folks to be present in the church office for a couple of days each week to open the door for deliveries. Perhaps you need a safe, warm, friendly space to work and a person or two there to ease the boredom or loneliness.
We are looking for folks to work in Durant House, particular on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am-4 pm or some part of the day. Fringe benefits: judicious use of the printer or scanner and endless snacks! You can even bring your dog if they are calm. Light duties include opening the front door occasionally to delivery people and texting specific staff if any issues come up. If interested, email Molly at [email protected].
