This Sat., Nov. 4, 12:30 to 4 pm
2340 Durant Ave., Berkeley
We’d like to invite the FCCB community to join us this Saturday for the first annual EBSB Festival of Ideas. This event will feature workshops, lectures, and conversations celebrating design thinking and the transformative connections, inventions, and conversations EBSB’s design-centered program and culture make possible.
We are excited to have the participation of Kate Schatz, author of the Rad Woman book series and co-author of Do the Work: An Anti-Racist Activity Book, and Apexer, whose mural art has enlivened streetscapes around the Bay Area as well as institutional spaces like SFMOMA and the deYoung Museum. We will also have interactive sessions led by EBSB teachers on possibilities for reimagining the city block, children’s literature, and modern government.
