Berkeley Food and Housing has informed us that the agency is now sheltering vulnerable older homeless individuals in motel rooms so they can isolate. Here is a a short list of items that would be very welcome.
Please collect all the items on the list in a shopping bag and let Alice Clark know at [email protected]. She will arrange pick up and drop off after a number of sets have been assembled.
Set of Items Needed to Be Collected in a Shopping Bag
- Dried fruit
- Dried meat
- Can fruit
- Snack bars
- Any small microwavable item that does not need refrigeration (mac & cheese, chili, rice)
- Plastic silverware
- Tooth paste, tooth brushes
- Deodorant
