This Sunday’s Offering Recipient (April 7)
Based on the text of Mathew 5:13-16, this year’s theme of One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) is Share the Light. An annual mission drive of the United Church of Christ (UCC), Church World Service, and multiple denominations, OGHS supports partners worldwide with ministries that fund health, education, and agricultural development, emergency relief, refugee ministries, and both international and domestic disaster response. This Special Mission Offering Campaign is now celebrating its 75th year.
With the memories of Holy Week and visions of Easter still fresh in our minds, OGHS asks us to shine our light on the various ministries so we can help to “bring out the God-colors in the world.” Please consider making a generous contribution to the offering plate collection or through Realm this Sun., April 7.
