November is Homeless Awareness Month and we, at First Church, are turning a spotlight on the Trinity Center of Walnut Creek. Trinity offers vulnerable adults and transition-age youth a variety of services that leads to more stability and health. Clothing is one of the practical services offered. They offer washers and dryers for clothes. Also, a closet with donated essentials.
Mens’ items are always in short supply. This month we are collecting men’s pants and shoes. Please donate clean, sturdy pants and/or shoes. We need all adult sizes. We are looking for practical items for those unhoused.
Please bring your donations to the cereal and peanut butter table in the Hall of Entrance Sunday mornings. Mary Fujii will be taking donations to Trinity. Thanks!
