Mental Health Caregivers Group

Fourth Tuesdays, 12 noon to 1 pm
Sanctuary

The reality of living with, caring for, and loving someone suffering from a mental illness is that it affects our own mental health and functioning. We’ve formed a new group for folks in our community who are caring for someone with a mental illness (spouse or partner, child, parent). We meet monthly for mutual support, advice-giving, and resource-sharing as appropriate, spiritual focus and theological reflection. This is a confidential space aimed at strengthening us for the calling of caregiving through sometimes very stressful and debilitating times. Group members take turns gently leading each session.

We meet in person in the Sanctuary on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 12-1 pm (BYO brown bag lunch!). For more details or to RSVP, email Rev. Molly at [email protected].
