First Church Berkeley is going big for Pride this year—instead of celebrating one Sunday, we’re taking the whole month of June to celebrate queer bodies, queer love, and queer faith! All four Sundays in June will feature queer preachers, starting with our very own Rev. Kelly Colwell. And instead of just resting in our affirming position, we’re asking the big questions about what comes next—what might queer(y)ing God lead us to do next? Where are we called to grow and change? Who might God be bringing through our doors (virtual or physical) next? What might queer theology, queer history, and queer intersections have to offer the church today?
