Every Second Sunday of the month in the Cloister at 9 am
The Second Sunday Sandwiches program is back on track! You’re invited to help assemble 50 bag lunches for our unhoused friends on the Second Sunday of each month at 9 am in the Cloister. You’re invited to help prepare the lunches before going into the service, so we can have them all ready to distribute after.
There are many ways to help:
- Fill the bags with the fruit, cookies, candy, cards, towelettes, etc.
- Make the sandwiches and put them in the bags
- Staple the bags shut when filled
Also, everyone is invited to take a few to distribute as you go home from the events of the day. There are people who will appreciate them in every direction from the church!
You can also help by signing up to bring the necessary ingredients each month, or donate to the fund to buy whatever isn’t donated. If writing a check, please put Second Sunday Sandwiches in the memo line, or write it on your cash envelope so it gets into the right account.
