★ Snap a selfie (wearing your blue church “Motley pew” T-shirts for extra credit) on any walk this week you want to claim as your CROP Hunger walk! Post it to the private church Facebook group to inspire us all, AND/OR, if you’d be included in the pre-worship slide sho, email to [email protected].
Even if we can’t walk shoulder-to-shoulder this year, we can gather in spirit, ending hunger one step at a time. First Church invites you and your family to schedule your own CROP walk during the week of May 2nd, your choice of time and route. As a walker, you can join the First Church Berkeley team here, where you can set up a page of your own to reach out to sponsors. Or simply click that link to make a donation. CROP Walk proceeds fund Church World Service and these local non-profits: Youth Spirit Artworks (Food distribution at the Tiny House Village); Berkeley Food Pantry; and Dorothy Day House.
In addition, this year’s CROP Walk will be our Offering Plate Recipient for the first two Sundays of May.
